Bremen, 25 July, 2011. Littelfuse has relocated its European headquarters to Bremen, a second international company in that the WFB Bremen GmbH has succeeded in bringing to Bremen. After the relocation of NuVasive in the fall of 2009, it seemed all lights were green for Littelfuse’s move.
The Littelfuse Group, listed on the US Stock Exchange and headquartered in Chicago, is the world’s leading supplier of products for protection of electronic circuits and systems from damage caused by power surges. Littelfuse products are found virtually everywhere, in mobile phones, computers and houshold appliances – even under the hood of the car.
As early as mid-August, the future European headquarters will be ready in the Julius-Bamberger Strasse. The ideal location for the firm was found through the joint efforts of the WFB and commercial broker Robert C. Spies. Littelfuse will start operations with 30 employees but sees potential in the middle term to increase that number to 40 positions.
