An innovative environment of highly qualified, renowned companies and research institutions secures Bremen a leading position in the aerospace innovation cluster.
The IAC is the only place where all global aerospace players come together. In recent editions, more than 6,500 people have taken part, coming from more than 80 countries. Under the motto “Responsible Space for Sustainability”, this year's IAC - International astronautical congress will take place in Milan. Space is also a place of diversity and inclusion, a place where different genders, countries, generations, abilities and conditions are crucial for the development, evolution, innovation and knowledge of humanity. The motto contains a dilemma: space technologies are essential for today's societal life and a sustainable future, but space is a finite resource and we must preserve this asset for future generations. The IAC 2024 aims to address this problem and propose appropriate solutions. Discussions on new ideas, projects and initiatives will be welcome to witness and celebrate the diversity of the international space community.
